Any worsted weight yarn can be used for this pattern, most important is that the stitch count matches with the gauge.

This is a fairly easy pattern to make, as it works from bottom to top. The front and back pieces are made flat then seamed. The sleeves are worked in the round from the armhole, as is the collar.

If you use the same yarn as the pattern you will find your sweater slightly puffed but wonderfully cozy.
