About this Pattern

This is a Beginner Level shawl that is great for stash busting minis or scraps you’ve collected on your crochet journey! This pattern alternates sections of lattice and solid rows that creates an Ombre effect throughout. This shawl uses an easy 6 row repeat and is reversible when finished. Instructions for Fingering, DK and Worsted yarn weights are included.

Materials
• 1 skein/color (100g, all yarn weights or 360yd Fingering,
250yd DK, 220yd Worsted) of Main Color yarn
• 10 mini skeins/colors (10g/35yd Fingering, 10g/25yd DK, or
20g/45yd Worsted) of Accent Color yarn
• Size 3.25mm (Fingering), 4.00mm (DK) or 6.00mm (Worsted)

Repeats, Measurements and Gauge
• Yarn weights, repeats, measurements and gauge are as
follows:
o Fingering - 8 repeats and the border were used
Wing Span = 48 inches and Depth = 28 inches
Gauge is 23 double crochets and 12 rows = 4” square

o DK - 5 repeats and the border were used
Wing Span = 46 inches and Depth = 22 inches
Gauge is 18 double crochets and 8 rows = 4” square

o Worsted - 4 repeats and the border were used
Wing Span = 52 inches and Depth = 27 inches
Gauge is 13 double crochets and 6 rows = 4” square

• Additional repeats can be made to increase the size of the
shawl before the border rows are added.
• Blocking is recommended with this shawl to show stitch
definition.
