Winter Roses
One of the first sweaters I designed about 20 years ago was a stranded sweater for myself using Koigu. While at the h + h show, I visited the Koigu booth and was reminded of the sweater, and I thought it might be fun to redo it for Cast On. Koigu was happy to provide the yarn, and this is the result.
I do stranded work flat. I know this is shocking, but I find that my stranded tension is much better, and the side seams provide support. I’ve graded this pattern as Complex, so feel free to work it in the round if that is your preference.
Gray is the background color for the front and back while red is the background color for the sleeves. If you choose to work the motifs in one color, you might want to get an additional skein of that color.
