The Winter Sky Cowl is inspired by winter in the Four Corners region, when precious snow visits the land and pristine night skies reign.

The cowl was designed using Four Corners Yarns Arizona Base. Four Corners Yarns (www.fcyarns.com) supports rural and Indigenous artists and shepherds in the Four Corners region of the American Southwest. The Arizona Base is produced using 100% Arizona-grown fiber, including 40% fine wool (CVM and Tunis) from Schafwolle Ranch, 40% alpaca from Peaceful Prairie Ranch and 20% Kid Navajo Angora from Jay Begay. The result is a soft, lustrous yarn that can be traced to small flocks raised on the same land that inspired the Winter Sky Cowl design.

Through the end of December 2021, 25% of all proceeds from Winter Sky Cowl sales will be donated to the Grand Canyon Trust, a nonprofit organization that works to safeguard the wonders of the Grand Canyon and the Colorado Plateau, while supporting the rights of its Native peoples.
