This colorwork hat is made for advanced beginners of colorwork as there are no floats that you need to worry about catching. The only section beginners may find difficult are three decrease rows in the crown which are knit in colorwork. This colorwork pattern knits up nicely in both superwash and non-superwash wools and can be done with solids, speckles, or variegated yarns.

Make sure to check out the matching cowl pattern as well. Both projects can be made using one 1 skein each of three colors.
