Once a classic colorwork stocking hangs at the fireplace, everybody starts dreaming about what they might find inside. Worked from the top down, the Winter Snowflakes Stocking begins with a narrow lace border and a two-color band. Snowflakes and diamonds decorate the leg and instep, with a peasant heel and simple toe in contrasting white.
