Elegant but simple sweater, knitted top down, in the round, in 4 sizes.

The pattern includes written instructions and a size chart to ensure the right stitches for the desired size. The sweater is knitted top down in worsted weight yarn using 50-100 grams of Amarillo/brass and 400-600 grams of blue/winter white depending on the size. The sweater is knitted top down and is therefore easy to custom fit both as it is knitted or adjusting the size. The sweater circumference increase over the shoulder and by stitches cast on under the arms. Circumference can therefore be adjusted by adding extra increases or stitches cast on. The whole sweater can be knitted with circular needles using 41 cm/16” long, or sleeves can be knitted using double pointed needles if only longer circular needles are at hands.

The idea for this pattern was inspired by our winter solstice celebration, but your color combinations might be inspired by something else.
