Living on the Canadian Prairies, we need a good, warm hat for about 6 months of the year. One can never have too many! I named it Winter Wheat because the stitch pattern reminds me of wheat blowing in the breeze. It has just enough slouch to make it feel roomy, but keeps you warm, stays put & looks awesome with a huge pompom!

Worked in the round, from the brim to the top, this hat features an easy-to-memorize pattern repeat. It has a deep ribbed section to help the hat stay snug on your head to help keep out the cold. It is also easy to add depth or width to if you want to customize your size to accomodate a different yarn or if you want more of a slouch.

• 2 sizes - Sm (19” - 20”); Lg (21” - 22”)
• Includes both written instructions and a chart.
• Written in standard US knitting terms.
