This pattern was commissioned for the 2017 BAMCAL for the month of November. As a Rookie Designer, I must say a big Thank You to the moderators for asking me to produce a square for them!

This pattern was written for 3 colours (A, B, C), but is suitable for projects using more or fewer colours. It features front and back post stitches and flowers made as-you-go (no additional sewing required!).

A note about skill level: Testers rated this pattern as “Intermediate to Advanced”; at least one tester called the pattern Very Challenging. Although the most difficult stitches included in the pattern are only post stitches, there is a fair amount of complex work involved in creating the flowers, including heavy use of stitch markers, so beginners may want to give this pattern a pass until they have reached at least an intermediate skill level.

Video tutorials for the flower rounds (Round 3 and Round 4) are now available on my blog at the following link: https://tootsandmomo.wordpress.com/2017/11/09/winter-wild...

A video tutorial for the back post top loop (bptl) stitches found in the pattern is also available via my blog at this link (Please note that the tutorial was created for one of my other designs, so that design is referenced in the video. The technique/stitch remains the same, however):
