Winter Wishes is a simple little colorwork cowl that was designed to help you find that joy of making during these cold winter months.

This pattern was designed to match my Byfall Sweater and
Mini Byfall Sweater

Construction:
In the beginning, sts are CO using a Provisional CO method. The cowl is worked in a round as a long tube, with stranded colorwork motifs throughout. Then, CO edge is undone, and sts from both ends of the cowl are grafted together with Kitchener Stitch.

One size

Measurements:
Circumference: 28 in / 71 cm
Length (folded in half): 14 in / 36 cm
Width: 7.5 in / 19 cm

Yarn:
For the sample I used Shine Sport by Knit Picks (60% pima cotton, 40% modal; 110 yards / 101 meters per 50g) in two contrasting colors;

MC: Cream (2 x 50g skeins)
CC: Sky (2 x 50g skeins)

Feel free to use any heavy sport / light dk weight yarn, but please make sure to get gauge.

US 6 (4 mm) circular needles with 16 inch cord, or needle size to obtain gauge.

You’ll need a spare set of needles for grafting two ends of the cowl together.
