This PDF is for TWO PATTERNS, sold as a pattern duo, designed to complement each other and make the perfect gift set!

Yardage estimates given here reflect working only the trivet to working both the trivet and a set of 4 coasters. Generally speaking, one skein of Yarn Bee Feelin’ Chunky will yield one trivet or one set of 4 coasters in your main color, and one skein of your contrasting color will be enough to embroider both the trivet and the coaster set.

If you have mastered the basic beginner crochet stitches of chains and single crochet, you can make this beautiful coaster and trivet set This pattern uses a CYC 5 Bulky cotton yarn (shown in Yarn Bee Feelin’ Chunky), but you can also hold two strands of a CYC 4 worsted / Aran weight together. This is a beautiful set that works up quickly and makes a great gift set for friends, neighbors, stocking stuffers, hostess gifts, and more!

The pattern is written in US terms, in English only.

This 22 page PDF includes the following:

  • Cover page with large color photo
  • Step-by-step, full-color photo tutorials (with links to video tutorials) for the single crochet and embroidery backstitch,
  • TWO full written PATTERNS (coaster and trivet) with supplemental instructional photos.
  • Supplemental video for coaster embroidery pattern.

The finished trivet will be approximately 9” square and each coaster are around 4.5” square.
