The Winter Woods Pillow is a nod to many winters past, growing up in Norway. Inspired by my fathers farm in the snowy woods. The pillow brings Nordic charm and cozy nostalgia to your
home, the kind of warmth and hygge only handknit decor can offer.

The Winter Woods Pillow is knit in the round from the bottom up, using Fair Isle colorwork method. The pattern repeats on both front and backside of the pillow, with the exception of the
cabin which is only visible on the front side. Select two contrasting colors of DK weight yarn for the project. The design features an envelope style closure with buttons to secure your pillow
insert. A flap is created in the beginning of the project, then the remainder of the stitches are cast on using Cable Cast On method. The top of the pillow is finished up using Kitchener Stitch
for a seamless look.
