I have had numerous requests for FLAT-KNIT accessories with straight knitting needles, and this pattern delivers!!!!! Accessories set is knit in a wonderful Estonian knitting stitch. Links to instructions for all techniques used are included in the patterns. Cascade Superwash 220 yarn is used for this project; and, although Superwash yarn was used and is classified as a “worsted weight (4)” yarn by many, my research has shown that this yarn may actually be BETWEEN a dk weight and a worsted weight, so I recommend checking knitting gauge.

Three sizes available for the hat: Adult Small, Adult Medium and Adult Large. Scarf pattern and fingerless gloves patterns are available in one size only.

Want a different brim length? You can adjust it. Want a fold-under brim instead of a fold-up brim? The choice is YOURS! Don’t want to do the Estonian Button Stitch? You can knit these accessories in stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl one row). Want a shorter hat? You can do fewer rows for the body of the hat.

I designed these items with YOU in mind and wanted the pattern to be as easy as possible for beginners! Techniques used include knitting, purling, seaming, and I-cord edging for the scarf.
