This headband pattern is both cute and cozy! The stranded knitting provides a thick, double-layer of protection for your ears and hands in bouts of chilly weather. The pattern is fun but not too complicated, perfect for both beginners and more advanced knitters.

Sizing
I have provided instructions for 3 sizes, for which the finished headband is 16”/40.5cm (18”/46cm) (22”/56 cm) in circumference. You should choose a size that will give 2-3”/5-7.5cm negative ease so that the headband will hold onto your head snugly. The headband is 4.5”/11.4cm tall.

Yarn
Worsted-weight yarn:
30-60 m (35-65 yds) main color (background)
30-50 m (55-55 yds) contrasting color (flowers)

The pattern also includes tips and tricks for stranded knitter beginners!
