This pattern is available for free.

The Winterland Cowl is knit flat, in a rectangle with 2 strands of different colorways held together and mainly in stockinette stitch pattern. For a triangular shaped cowl it is joined with the zig zag crochet method to the side at the cast on edge.

The cowl can be made wider by increasing the number of stitches cast on and longer by increasing the number of rows.

Although the yarn for this pattern has been discontinued, other yarn of the same weight and fiber can be substituted for it.
