This hat is so cosy, you’ll be the envy of your family, really! The loop stitch (free demo on my blog) gives a fabulous weight to the hat band and is great for keeping the ears warm.

Knit this for Christmas in green or red or choose a more wintery colour, as I have with the dusty blue here and you’ll be able to wear it from November to March. It’s available in three sizes, so find some yarn and get your needles ready!

Who is this for?

To knit this hat you’ll need to understand beginner jargon and be confident in following new stitch patterns and shaping skills. (if you’ve knitted my Child’s Tassel Hat, 3-6yr & 7-10yr, it’s very similar)

I have the perfect tutorial on my blog to show you how to make the loop stitch, with nothing but a ball of mohair/merino yarn and a pair of needles.

Why do you need it?
This pattern is great for the whole family. It’s a seasonal knit for everyone. (It may even be perfect for a Santa costume!)
