It’s back-to-school time in our household, and I must admit that it’s one of my favorite times of year (and not just because it means I have a better chance of keeping my house tidy when half the boys are in school!) There’s something exciting about this season, even if you’re long past heading into a classroom. Just seeing freshly sharpened pencils all lined up, the smell of a new box of crayons, and the promise of a clean composition book—just waiting for your creativity to fill its pages. No animal evokes the feeling of this time of year better than the oh-so-wise owl. With a simple but unique owl motif, reverse heel flap and gusset and interesting toe detailing, you can whip up a pair of these fun socks as an opportunity for some learnin’ of your own!
