This slender crescent shawl has an open wave cable and a border of flower bulbs. Autumn is around the corner which means it’s time to have a shawl to cover your shoulders as you venture outside to take photos of the sunset.

SHAPE: Crescent

NOTIONS: 2 stitch markers. Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

PATTERN STYLE: The pattern contains written as well as chart instructions. There is a key and full abbreviation list included as well.

DIFFICULTY: Advanced Beginner

YARN: This pattern was specifically designed for subtle variegated, but a solid or tonal, gradient, color block yarn colorway or perhaps self-striping would work just fine.

SIZE: 62”x13” (blocked and unpinned)

This is the size of the sample, please keep in mind the size of your shawl may vary depending on your yarn skein’s yardage.

NOTE: You will need to weigh your yarn on a scale before you start, and as you knit this shawl. If you are not using a scale, you MUST swatch to get gauge and follow the repeats of the sample.

The beauty of the construction of this shawl is you can make as small or as large as you would like, repeating the sections according to your OWN skein’s yardage, enabling you to use very close to the entire skein of yarn.
