Wishbone is a simple tuque which covers the ears warmly while rolling up in the front and the back for the eyes and hair. The decreases are centered over the ears, making a wishbone shape.

Yarn: You will need approximately 80 yards of a bulky-weight wool for best results.

Supplies:

  • 16” US size 10 circular needle
  • 4 US size 10 double-pointed needles
  • 4 stitch markers
  • tapestry needle

Sizing: Finished circumference is approximately 22.5”. Circumference may be adjusted by casting on more or fewer stitches, keeping the decreases centered over the ears. Finished height is approximately 8.5”. Height may be adjusted by doing more or fewer repeats of Round 5, then decreasing normally.

Wishbone is the pattern for Week Ten of Pattern a Week at Running Jack Knits.
