Wisteria Trellis Shawl
Worked and designed on a blissful Italian holiday under the shade of ancient wisteria trellises, this shawl has very happy memories woven into the easily memorised pattern.
The lace edging is worked first from end to end in a fairly simple, and easily memorised six row repeat using the beautiful gradient to create an ombre effect. The body of the shawl is picked up and worked in rows of increasing length in a delicate, textured, lacy pattern.
Size
Finished depth: 33cm/13in
Finished length at neck edge: 170cm/67in
Finished border length: 203cm/80in
The size is easily adjustable by working fewer or more repeats of the lace border. Adjusting the size affects the amount of yarn required.
