Knit yourself a hat that feels and looks like a REAL witch’s hat complete with quirky peak. The hat is knitted and then felted. The felting process transforms the knitted fabric into a firm felt that gives the hat its shape.

The hat can be made in two versions, either with a narrow brim or a wide brim.

The pattern is a 5 page pdf with colour photos and full instructions throughout. Experience with basic knitting stitches, casting on, binding off and circular knitting are needed for this pattern. All other techniques are explained in the pattern.

Instructions are provided for making the hat to suit the following sizes;-
Small child (approx circumference of head 18” (46cm))
Medium child (approx circumference of head 20” (51cm))
Large child /Adult (approx circumference of head 22” (56cm))

The yardage given is for the narrow brimmed version. To make the wide-brimmed version another 90m is needed.
