The Bag base is worked flat in garter stitch. Stitches for the Bag body are picked up around the circumference of the base and the Bag body is worked upward in the round. The skirt begins separately, and is joined to the Bag body at approximately the halfway point by knitting stitches from both sections together. Legs and bow are made separately and sewn to the Bag.
