This is my pattern for Witchy The Ghost! A cute little Ghost in a witch hat! Perfect for a Halloween decor!
Witchy The Ghost stands about 3.5-4inches tall without her hat on, and stands about 6 inches tall with her hat on going up to the tip of her hat. She will turn out to be this size if you use the same weight yarn and the same hook size I used but can change in size if you change your yarn and hook size.
Gauge is not particularly important for this project but I do recommend using a hook small enough that you won’t have holes in your Ghost. Also I recommend for her arms to watch your tension and maybe do both arms in the same day to help keep your tension the same for both arms.
The yarn I used for mine was Patons Canadiana in white, Loops and Threads Impeccable in black and some scrap Lion Brand in orange that I had hanging around. Any 4 weight yarn will work though and even other weights would work but be sure to change your hook size to match the yarn you use. You don’t want holes… I did not use the whole skein of the white, I still have enough to make another Ghosty too so it doesn’t use a lot of yarn.
Well I do hope you enjoy my pattern and that you love making your own Witchy The Ghosty! Also, I would love if you could share your Ghosty with me! You can share her here on ravelry and tag it back to my pattern or if you would like to help support me or see my future patterns to come, then please join me in my Facebook group, it’s called: Crochet For Love! I would really appreciate the support and I hope to see you there!
