This beanie starts with ribbing and then continues with several different stitch patterns designed to be knit with your eyes closed. It is knit bottom up, finishing with a squared off crown at the top.

As a challenge, and a way to help out our friend who needed to rest her eyes, but wanted to keep knitting, we have created this pattern for a hat. The challenge is to knit the entire hat without looking at your needles. Feel free to knit it with eyes open or closed, but if you don’t look, you will have a fun surprise at the end!

This pattern was designed and released every other clue by Jeanette DeMario and Susan Plack. Join in on the fun and knit this one with your eyes closed!
