This delicate lace pattern looks beautiful and different when knitted in super chunky yarn. I designed it to match the Witu Scarf, using the same lace stitch – simple, satisfying and surprisingly quick to grow.

It’s an ideal weekend project for experienced knitters and a great confidence booster for beginners looking to try lace for the first time.

CONSTRUCTION
Knitted flat in one piece from the bottom up with one seam.

TECHNIQUES USED
Cast on, knit, purl, yarn overs, lace pattern, decreasing. Joining one seam. Optional but recommended to create the feeling of joy when joining your pieces: mattress stitch.

YARN
One 100g hank of Superchunky weight yarn.
Or you can use two strands of aran weight yarn held together; 105m

SUGGESTED NEEDLES
10mm.
