With this pattern you can make a wolf (or direwolf) with three different types of markings. I made a completely white wolf, and two grey and white ones; one is grey along the top and white underneath, the other just has a white throat. You can of course use different colours, wolves can be brown, reddish, black, grey or a mixture, and mottled yarns will give a good effect.

If you want to make Ghost, Jon Snow’s white direwolf companion, this pattern will be the right size along with the pattern for Jon Snow which is available in an ebook with both patterns.

The pattern is suitable for crocheters with a little experience. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow if you know the basic stitches and techniques used to make amigurumi. They are written in English using US crochet terms, and the list of abbreviations includes the UK alternatives. The pattern is a downloadable PDF file and you will need Adobe Reader to open it. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have as you are making it.
