A scoop neck cardigan that gets its beautiful texture from a broken rib stitch. Deep side pockets and a relaxed fit make it ideal for knitters who love a cozy sweater.

This cardigan is knit flat from the bottom up. After the shoulders are joined, sleeve stitches are picked up and knit in the round. No seaming is required.

Gauge is 17 stitches = 4” in BLOCKED Broken Rib Stitch. However, the gauge with this  pattern stitch can be very varied depending on blocking so the sweater can accommodate a range of sizes.
