In 1982, UK feminist magazine Spare Rib published this jumper pattern featuring a band of Venus symbols around the chest and sleeves. It was designed exclusively for Spare Rib by LUKNITICS of Perth, Scotland.

SIzes given as Small (34”), Medium (38”) and Large (42”) but the pattern describes it as a “loose fitting design!!!”. It has a front pocket and includes instructions for a sleeveless version.

Knitted in DK to an Aran weight tension to give a loose, relaxed draped fabric.
