Comfort Blankets are transitional objects used often by babies in the time they begin to separate from their mother, around their eighth month. That sense of “loss” is sometimes filled with the presence of an object, often a toy or a blanket, which represents this bond, comfort and security, so they like to keep it always near, especially at bedtime. They are very important for the kid’s life and as for the entire family. If we can make our most beloved character blanket with our own hands, it will be even more special.

Wonder Woman is one of my favourites of all times, not to mention she is one of the first female empowering characters most of us have known. She was for many years the only girl in an all-boys-all-powerful club… her presence there represented all girls, and it told us we could get to the top of whatever we chose, we could be powerful too!

Las mantas de apego son objetos transicionales que muchas veces usan los bebés cuando comienzan la separación o ruptura de la mónada con la madre, alrededor de los ocho meses de edad. Suelen elegir un muñeco o mantita que les represente este vínculo y tenerlo siempre cerca como consuelo y como representación de seguridad. Son muy importantes para la vida del niño o niña y de toda la familia, por lo tanto si elegimos un personaje que amamos y nos represente, y se la podemos hacer con nuestras propias manos a ese ser tan especial, tendrá mucho más valor aún.

Wonder Woman es uno de mis personajes favoritos y ni que hablar de que es una de las primeras figuras femeninas de poder que muchas hemos conocido. Fue por muchos años la única chica en el club de los seres más fuertes del universo, y su presencia allí nos representaba y nos decía que sí podíamos estar en lo más alto de todo lo que nos propusiéramos. ¡Que podíamos ser poderosas también!
