I have been searching for my perfect dishcloth pattern for a while and in the end decided to design my own as I seem to have very specific dishcloth needs!

Perfectly hand-sized, double layered for sponginess and with a textured pattern for scrubbing performance this is my PERFECT dishcloth.

This pattern is written for magic loop and is suitable for an intermediate knitter.

The pattern includes two video tutorials to demonstrate casting on and starting your dishcloth and also a special stitch.

For the samples I used Scheepjes Catona and with my gauge I used 24g of a 25g ball.
For your first dishcloth I would recommend that you have at least 30g as I would say my gauge is a little of the tight side of average.

The Wondrous Dishcloth would also be fabulous knitted from other natural fibres such as linen or bamboo.

It would also make THE most perfect wash cloth too!

Finished size is approximately 17cm x 11cm (6.75” x 4.5”)

I would love it if you’d like to share your creations on Instagram by using the hashtag #ssvwondrousdishcloth
