Wearing this scarf will definitely not throw off your groove! It was inspired by Emperor’s New Groove, one of the most underrated movies of all time. The design is based off the carvings on the outside of Kuzco’s palace. If you just want a scarf with an Incan vibe, you can just knit the carvings without the rather conspicuous llama head.

Because it is double knit, the scarf is fully reversible with opposite color schemes on each side. Need help with double knitting? Watch my video tutorial here.

Can’t knit? My channel also has a video about how to crochet a chart intended for knitting.

You will need two colors of light fingering weight yarn (about 400 yards of each color) and size 2 (2.75mm) needles. If you use the cascade heritage, I would buy two skeins of each. I finished with literally inches left… The finished scarf is 5” wide and 64” long, though the length can be adjusted.

Enjoy!
