Take a simple two colour pattern and a touch of unisex styling, throw in some slip stitches and an easy to work edging, and you have yourself a classic wrap that you will love to wear. Knit in one piece in fingering weight yarn using only one colour of yarn on each row, the body of the wrap is worked first, before a feminine, simple crochet edging of slip stitches and picots is added using both colours. If crochet isn’t your thing, or you’re knitting for any of the males in your life, choose either one of your colours (or choose another contrasting colour if you prefer) and add a functional I-cord edge instead.

The Wood Street Wrap provides enough interest for all levels of knitter, but in particular is simple enough for the inexperienced knitter who feels ready to add some new techniques to their knitting repertoire.

5mm (US 8) crochet hook
16 stitch markers
Tapestry needle

GAUGE AFTER BLOCKING:
20 stitches and 36 rows to 4 inches (10cm) in pattern.
