Woodland is a classic cardigan pattern for babies and toddlers. It features a decorative decreasing pattern in a ribbed circular yoke. The front bands are integrated into the knitting, making it a quick and easy knit.
Woodland is a seamless knit worked in sport or a light DK weight yarn from the bottom up. Instructions are fully written out and are given for five sizes (newborn - 3 months, 3 – 6 months, 6 – 12 months, 12 – 18 months and 18 months – 2 years). A detailed schematic diagram is included.
Woodland can be knitted entirely flat, or the sleeves acna be worked in-the-round. It only uses knits, purls and some simple decreases, making it an ideal knit for a beginner.
