This characterful knitted doll captures the spirit of the forest, with their snowdrop hat and dandelion clock wand.

A quick note; for safety reasons, do not give the wand to babies or younger children.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the doll is knitted in acrylic DK yarns mostly on single pointed needles (not in the round). The hair is made from super chunky weight acrylic yarn. Two DPNs are used to knit little i-cord tubes for the doll’s thumbs.

NEEDLES
A pair each of 3mm and 8mm single pointed knitting needles (US 2.5 & 11), and two 3mm DPNs.

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour. For the hair, Sirdar Hayfield Bonus Super Chunky; super bulky weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g skein.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, domed buttons for eyes, a stitch holder, and beads to decorate.

SIZES
One size only - 38cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For intermediate knitters and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, short row shaping, and seaming to finish.
