Woodland Mosaic is the second pattern in a series of designs that combine crochet lace with Intarsia colour work to create a garment that is light and practical for every day life. This design is meant to be an easy option for a beginner due to lack of increase in the bottom edge.
For base, I used a variation of the lace design called Woodland Daydream I created last year. The pattern contains instructions for making the sweater, though you can make anything from crop, tee, tunic, dress, to skirt even.
CONSTRUCTION
This garment is worked top-down, round yoked & seamless. The pattern uses a multifunctional ribbing on the neck which can also be used as cuffs or tshirt sleeve, if desired.
This design is a 2 in 1 because you can work the sweater without the colour work. Also, if you find working the waistcoat stitch, you can replace it with single crochet.
