Wool-Crochet Wrap for Late Summer Evenings
The woollen shawl illustrated is a dainty little wrap for summer evenings, and may be crocheted in white with a coloured border, or in colour with a white border, the shawl being of Shetland floss and the border of thicker wool. The floss should be worked with a No. 3 [6.5mm] bone crochet hook. The thicker wool with a No. 1 hook, ten inches long. It is advisable to make the border first.
Editor note: No gauge or size is given for this antique wrap, but it could be worked in any yarn with suitable hooks.
