Woolly Buddha Divalicious Cable Stole
This starts with just the cable pattern, then you add stitches and incorporate the moss stitch pattern around it, then decrease until you’re left with just the plaited cable again. For the increase & decrease rows, it will not follow the moss stitch pattern exactly but this is hardly noticeable when it’s complete.
As I’ve used 100% animal fibre, I prefer the spit splicing technique for joining ends. The Artesano superchunky is very substantial and the finished garment will weigh approximately 750g. If you do wish to block the finished garment, I would recommend using steam, as once wet, this yarn will stretch easily.
This version measures approximately 40cm deep and 125cm end to end (laid flat without stretching) and worn wrapped & overlapping by 20-30cm, it would fit UK sizes 12-14 or 16 with stretching (US 8-10). If you are smaller or larger, simply knit fewer or more rows in the main body. Two rows = approximately 5cm. The decrease rows and final tab section measure approx 15cm, so simply knit until you feel adding the final 15cm would make it overlap as you would like it.
