This pattern will show you how to knit a fitted pullover sweater for your broad body type fashionista Ken dolls and other dolls with similar proportions. The broad body type fashionista Ken doll has a 6.75” chest, 6” waist, and 2.5” bicep, and the pullover is designed to stretch across the chest and shoulders with a bit of negative ease to show off his shape.

This is a straightforward classic raglan pullover, styled after vintage wool work sock sweaters. Any light fingering weight yarn will work for this pattern. The sweaters in the pattern photos were knit using Loops & Threads brand “Woolike” yarn in Beige, Cool Gray, and Rose.

If you use regular fingering weight yarn the pullover will look much bulkier and may fit more loosely.

The pullover opens at the back of the neck for easy dressing, either over the head or feet first. The overlapping back seam will keep the back of the sweater looking neat for photographs. The pattern calls for 1 or 2 snap fasteners, velcro, or your choice of closure.
