This scrunchie is relatively easy to make and you can see how it got it’s name !

It is made to fit around a standard 5cm (2in) circular elastic ponytail band and can be made using any weight yarn. Tension is not important but you should use a hook of an appropriate size for the type of yarn you are using.

Stitches used (UK terms) are: chain, double crochet (US single crochet), slip stitch.

Only 5g required of fingering weight yarn was used in the sample shown.
