“An effect of weaving is given to the fabric by bringing the yarn forward between the needles before slipping the stitch and taking it to the back again after the stitch is slipped. This can be done on knit rows only or on both rows. This pattern should be knitted on large needles unless a thick close fabric is particularly required.”
