Nothing is more effective for flattering and shaping every body type than a surplice wrap. The diagonal lines from neck to buckle and from buckle to hem elongate the silhouette, while soft pleats offer definition at the waist as well as a bit of cover-up. The waist and sleeve cuffs are worked in linen stitch, which provides welcome stability in this otherwise fluid blouse. The artistically offset diagonal lower front edges create sophistication; three-quarter length sleeves offer versatile comfort. Needles: Body and sleeves: size U.S. 6 (4 mm): 24” (60 cm) circular (cir). I-cord edging: size U.S. 4 (3.5 mm): 24” (60 cm) cir.

Notions: Stitch holders; markers (m); size F/5 (4 mm) crochet hook; tapestry needle; 2” (5.3 cm) diameter buckle (available at fabric stores).
