As comforting to knit as it is to wear, this cowl makes an elegant, unfussy, naturally shaped layer that will tuck under your coat or ride on top of it with equal ease. It is designed for about 200 g of yarn in any weight.

Wraparoche is a satisfying introduction to two-colour brioche, using simple shaping to form a gentle funnel from shoulders to neck with an elegant dip at the centre front and back.

Charted as well as written instructions are provided. Tutorials are included for two-colour cast-on and cast-off techniques.

Use a circular needle 40 cm / 16 in long, or your preferred needles for working in the round. You will also need 4 stitch markers.

Thanks to my wonderful testers and to madeleinewindsor for tech editing! If you have any questions about the pattern, please check the help thread.
