This is a shawl originally designed for using up sock yarn leftovers. It’s a quick and easy knit using Knit, Purl and Yarn Overs to create the pattern, and an optional picot cast off which combines casting on and off to create a pretty edge.

The finished shawl is crescent shaped so will wrap around your shoulders in a hug and it tends to stay put without a shawl pin. It will also hang nicely at the front if you prefer.

First released in 2011, the shawl originally came one one size. The updated pattern (March 2019) has added medium and large sizes.
