This shawl-poncho hybrid features a beautiful cabled edge along one side. The shawl consists of a stocking stitch panel bordered with a simple, yet detailed cabled edging – a braided centre cable framed on either side by an easy 4-stitch cable that adds interest to this beautiful yet functional shawl. It is knit flat and seamed on one shoulder.

Dress it up or dress it down with your choice of yarn. Choose a solid or heathered colour or even a subtle verigated colour might be your preference. Wear your new Wrapped in Cables shawl indoors or over a coat to dress it up and add extra warmth.

750 meters of Worsted or Aran weight yarn
5.5mm knitting needles
5.5mm crochet hook (for the optional crochet cast on)
