Wrong Side Love
This design came about as I was knitting a pair of socks, and turned the socks inside out to weave in ends. I was totally smitten with the wrong side!
The mitts are knit from the wrist up and inside out, which leaves out a lot of (for some unwanted) purling. It also saves the surprise of what it’s going to look like, till you are almost done :)
Materials
S/M (Large):
Approximately 160 meters (250 meters) fingering or sport weight yarn.
The long mitts are photographed in BAERENwolle BAERENfluff in the Tolstoi colorway
The short mitts are photographed in Sweet Fiber Cashmerino Sock in the Driftwood colorway
Needles
2,0mm (US 0) and 2,5mm (US 1½) 80cm (32”) circular needles (or needles necessary to obtain gauge) for magic loop knitting or your prefered needles for knitting in the round
The larger needle is gauge needle, the smaller is for finishing only
Gauge
30 stitches = 4in/10cm in pattern stitch, rows are not important as you are knitting to length
Additional Tools
tapestry needle
