This is a seamless, set-in sleeve sweater. It is knit in the round from the bottom up before being divided at the underarms and knit flat to the shoulders. The sleeves are picked up from the armhole and knit in the round to the cuff. The sleeve cap is shaped with short rows. The shawl collar is picked up from the neck edge, knit straight, and then sewn to the sweater body at the bottom of the neck.
