Wyatt is a unisex, pullover variation of in threes: a baby cardigan. Designed with my first nephew in mind, it is knitted flat and in one piece with seaming up the sides and under the arms. Basic enough for a beginning knitter, with only garter and stockinette stitch required, but with enough interest in the design for someone with more experience, Wyatt is the perfect jumper for the little one in your family.

Sizes: NB-9 months (9-18 months, 18-24 months, 2T/3T, 3T/4T, 4T/5T, 5/6) Chest measurements are your most accurate sizing tool—the garment will have FINISHED chest sizes of approximately 18 (19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25) inches; you will lose a tiny bit of width with seaming. There is a small amount of positive ease built into the garment without being baggy.

Gauge: 16 stitches in 4 inches in stockinette, unblocked. Due to the design of this garment, stitch gauge is absolutely essential to ensure a fitted, wearable finished object. Row gauge will be slightly variable, which is why length measurements are given instead of exact row amounts.

Recommended Yarn: 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins of Malabrigo Twist, or a comparable quantity of the yarn of your choice. Alternative yarn choices include Malabrigo Worsted, Three Irish Girls Lindon Merino or Western Sky Knits Rodeo BFL. You are looking for a heavy worsted weight yarn in approximately 200 (250, 300, 350, 400, 425, 450) yards.
