This shawl was such a joy to knit! The yarn I used is from Photographic Fibers Co (not currently listed on Ravelry), and it worked beautifully for this design.

This can easily be a perfect stashbuster project — just pick up 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn from your stash and cast on this jewel. The pattern is specifically designed for 2 skeins of 400 m / 440 yds each, so you’ll be able to use them up entirely without worrying about leftovers.

I love how the contrasting colors play together in the wavy lace sections — the movement and texture really make the fabric come alive. It blocks out into a generous triangular shape with a delicate, slightly dramatic edge that makes it both elegant and wearable.

Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxing yet visually engaging knit that maximizes your yarn yardage beautifully.
