Wyndham is a charming lace slouch hat sure to keep your needles busy through the summer months! Knit from the bottom–up and shaped by changing needle size, an i-cord (or a ribbon) threaded through the brim ensures a secure fit. The Hat is shown here in simple white lace but knitting in worsted wool would make a lovely cold weather option.

MATERIALS:
200 yards of worsted weight yarn, shown here using 2 skeins of Mirasol Sawya ( 60% cotton/25% alpaca/15% silk- 92 yards)
US5 (3.75mm) 16’ circular needle
US9 (5.5mm) 16’ circular needle
Set of US9 (5.5 mm) double pointed needles
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
45 inches of ribbon (alternative to i-cord)

SIZING:
20 to 22 inches circumference at brim; stretchable to the average woman’s head.
