This pattern is suitable for adventurous beginner to intermediate skill levels. Basic knowledge of crochet stitches is required.

You will need:

8 Ply yarn, approx. 80-150g depending on chosen size. I used Bendigo Woolen Mills Luxury 8ply wool for my example.
5mm hook
Scissors
Darning needle
Ruler or tape measure

Finished Hat:
The finished hat sizes (head circumference) included are:
Baby 6-12 months: 16-17 inches
Baby 12-18 months: 17-18 Inches
Toddler: 18-19 inches
Child: 19-20 inches
Teen / Adult Small: 20-22 inches
Adult Large: 22-24 inches
